Warranty Policy

At Ryu's Jewelry, we stand behind the quality of the timepieces we sell. Unless otherwise stated in the product description, every eligible pre-owned watch purchased from Ryu's Jewelry includes a One-Year Limited Warranty from Ryu's Jewelry.

Our warranty is designed to give you confidence in the mechanical performance of your watch.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Our warranty covers defects in the mechanical movement of the watch resulting from normal use during the warranty period.

If a covered issue arises within one year from the date of purchase, Ryu's Jewelry will, at our discretion:

Repair the watch,
Replace defective mechanical parts, or
Replace the watch with a comparable item if repair is not reasonably possible.

All warranty service must be performed or authorized by Ryu's Jewelry.

What Is Covered

The warranty generally covers:

Mechanical movement defects
Timekeeping issues caused by movement failure
Defects resulting from workmanship during servicing performed by Ryu's Jewelry
Defects in replacement parts installed by Ryu's Jewelry

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage
Misuse or abuse
Drops, impacts, or physical shock
Water damage or moisture intrusion
Damage caused by improper handling or storage
Normal wear and tear
Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage
Crystal damage
Crown or bracelet damage caused by misuse
Loss or theft
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
Routine maintenance or cleaning
Battery replacement for quartz watches (unless defective)

Water Resistance

Unless specifically stated otherwise, pre-owned watches should not be considered waterproof.

Even if originally manufactured as water-resistant, the water resistance of a pre-owned watch cannot be guaranteed due to age and normal wear.

We recommend avoiding exposure to water unless the watch has been pressure-tested and approved for water resistance immediately prior to use.

Vintage Watches

Many of the watches we sell are vintage timepieces.

Due to their age, vintage watches may not perform to modern manufacturing standards.

Minor variations in daily timekeeping are considered normal and are not covered under this warranty.

Aftermarket & Custom Components

Some watches contain aftermarket or custom replacement components.

These components are identified in the product description.

Our warranty covers the functionality of these components but does not guarantee that they are original manufacturer parts.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty becomes void if:

The watch is serviced or repaired by anyone other than Ryu's Jewelry or a service provider authorized by us.
The case, movement, or serial numbers have been altered or removed.
Damage results from neglect, abuse, improper use, or unauthorized modifications.

Warranty Service

If you believe your watch requires warranty service:

Contact Ryu's Jewelry before sending the watch.
Securely package the watch to prevent damage during transit.
Ship the watch using an insured and trackable shipping method.

Customers are responsible for shipping the watch to Ryu's Jewelry unless otherwise agreed. If the repair is covered under this warranty, Ryu's Jewelry will pay for the return shipping within the United States.

Limitation of Warranty

This warranty is provided exclusively by Ryu's Jewelry.

It is separate from, and not affiliated with, any manufacturer's warranty.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is the exclusive warranty provided with your purchase and replaces all other express or implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
